Bangabandhu Safari Park in Gazipur Districts under Mauna and Pirujalii Union at Sreepur Upazila. The park is 3690 acres in size. It is still under construction. It is also a little Afric in Bangladesh.
About Bangabandhu Safari Park
It is a bio-diversity park open zoo. It is named on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman. He is the great leader of Bangladesh and the father of the nation. The park was open for people the recent year. It is on 31 Oct 2013. The Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had opened it. Inside safari park, a visitor can see Tiger, Lion, elephant, birds, snake, monkey, Zebra, Crocodile, Deer, and more.
The park is divided into many parts. They are Kore Safari, Safari Kingdom, Bangabandhu Safari, Natural History Museum, and open place. Tuesday is the holiday. The opening hour is 9 AM to 5 PM. The official website is www.safariparkgazipur.info.bd.
There is a food facility inside the park. They are the Tiger Restaurant or Lion Restaurant. Here food is costly.
How to Go
Buses are available from Mahakali, Dhaka. On Mymensingh highway, there is spot Bagher Bazar. It is 3 km west of there. The transportation fare is 50 to 80 taka from there. Local transportation is Human Haller. The traveler can go their e by car, and the car parking fee is Tk.100/-.
It is the 50/per adult and TK 20 For Kid. The foreign visitor’s fee is TK 450.
There is an AC bus transportation inside the Safari Park. It will take the visitor to visit the Tiger, Lion area. The ticket is TK.100/- per person TK 50 for the kid. It is entirely safe and secure.
It is one of the best tourist places in Bangladesh. Children can enjoy themselves a lot inside the park.
