Bangabandhu Novo Theater was established in the year 2000. Also, It is the only Novo-Theatre in Dhaka, Bangladesh with modern equipment.

About Bangabandhu Novo Theater

Its goal is to research about the planet, publish papers, and make exhibitions. There is a smart room in the theater. You will be able to play smart games in this room. You will find a 5D interactive edutainment simulator in the theater. Moreover, it is the only 5D theater in Bangladesh. The authority has updated the planetarium tools. 16 digital and 14 scientific exhibits have been included. Also, the Government has established a Nuclear Energy Information Center with the help of Russia. It will support the research of nuclear power for the Ruppur Nuclear plant. Furthermore, it will contribute to the scientific development of Bangladesh.

How to Go To the Site

The site is 12.1 km away from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Hence, you will need 25 minutes to reach the place. From the Gabtoli bus terminal, the site is 6.6 km away. Therefore, it will take 20 minutes. The site is 8.6 km away from Saidabad Bus terminal. So, it may cost you around 20 minutes to reach the theater. You have to get down to Bijoy Soroni road from the car or bus.

The address of the site is Bijoy Sarani, Dhaka- 1215. It remains open from 10 am to 6 pm. The site remains closed on Wednesday. Also, you may visit the website: novotheatre.gov.bd.
